BROTOMAX®
APPLICATION TIMES, MODES AND DOSE
- 1st application (SPRING): from the beginning of budding (2 cm) until flowering.
- 2nd application (SUMMER): at the beginning of the summer budding.
- 3rd application (AUTUMN): when the fruit begins to change colour (from green to pale green).
Can be applied through soil at the same time. Dose: 5 L/Ha.
BENEFITS AND ADVANTAGES
SPRING APPLICATION:
- Stimulates budding. Optimum balance between vegetation (foliar surface) and number of flowers.
- Prepares the tree for a good fruit setting.
- Overcomes attacks of Phytophthora spp.
SUMMER APPLICATION:
- Promotes budding for the following year’s growth.
- Strengthens the skin to prevent physiological disorders.
AUTUMN APPLICATION:
- Key treatment to overcome Phytophthora spp.
- Stronger stalks. Increases the grip of mature fruit (fewer falls).
- Regulates flowering, particularly in the Navel group varieties. A significant number of vegetative buds (only leaves), mixed buds and bellflowers, resulting in a good rate of leaves/ number of flowers, essential for a good harvest will be obtained the following spring.
- Prevents drying (“dry end”) of ripe fruit
- Prevents fruit creasing, especially in Valencia oranges.
- Improves the skin of the fruit.
RECOMMENDATIONS
SETTING AND FATTENING TREATMENT
To effectively prevent or correct deficiencies of Zinc, Manganese and Magnesium, a foliar treatment of LANZADERA®3 should be used.
Dose: 0,2-0,3% (2-3 L / 1000 L)
1st application: 90% of petal fall.
A treatment of both BIOHIDRAMAR® CUAJE and AM·EN®is recommended to boost fruit setting and to fatten the fruit, without losing quality. Furthermore, it promotes fruit gripping, reducing losses caused by physiological fall, thus obtaining increased production. It also helps greater homogeneity by increasing the BRIX level resulting in better skin quality.
Foliar dose:
- BIOHIDRAMAR® CUAJE: 0,1%
- AM·EN®: 0,3%
2nd application: 15-20 days after the first application.
In some varieties a second application of AM·EN®®, is advisable, to ensure that the fruit fatten better.
Foliar dose: 0,3%
A treatment of LANZADERA® CALCIO could be carried out at the same time to avoid physiological disorders, with a 2nd application of LANZADERA® CALCIO 15 days later
Foliar dose: 0,3%
Dose (irrigation application): 8-10 L/Ha.
NEW PLANTATIONS
We recommend that you apply CORRIZ·AM®, injected or through localized irrigation in conjunction with BROTOMAX®.
Dose (irrigation application):
- CORRIZ·AM®: 5 L/Ha
- BROTOMAX®: 5 L/Ha

OTHERS
Improves the effectiveness of phytosanitary and nutritional treatments, it is highly recommendable using QUASSAR® with the treatments, because of its high surfactant, adherent and penetrating power. Furthermore QUASSAR® is an effective and natural alternative to paraffinic oils.
Foliar dose: 0,15-0,3%
BIOHIDRAMAR® CUAJE AM•EN® and QUASSAR® are authorised as inputs in Organic Farming.
