On June 21, 22 and 23, the I International Citrus Forum – CITRUSFORUM will take place, in which we will participate as gold sponsors. Undoubtedly, it is an event of national and international repercussion for the sector and in which Agrométodos will actively participate.

The main objective of the CITRUSFORUM is to contribute to the sharing of knowledge in a very changing sector with a great capacity for innovation and digitalization. Organized by Agromarketing, it will collaborate with prestigious research centers, as well as the most relevant companies in the sector.

The event will have a hybrid format since it will be held in person at the ADDA Auditorium in Alicante and online through the Agromunity website and will combine technical presentations with face-to-face round tables and an online day with which it seeks to reach a larger audience. In addition, the technical program of CITRUSFORUM will be divided into different blocks such as: new varieties and genetic improvement, nutrition, innovation and technology of the sector, plant health and marketing and post-harvest. In this way, the latest advances and novelties in the citrus sector will be analyzed and exposed, becoming the best opportunity for companies, technicians and producers, research centers and other professionals to know the situation and where the sector is headed.

Within the program, on June 22, our head of R & D, Curro Romero Sierra, will intervene giving a presentation from 11:50 am within Block IV. Nutrition and physiology, entitled “A wall against biotic and abiotic agents”.
