Subtropical Fruit
BROTOMAX®
APPLICATION TIMES, MODES AND DOSE
- 1st foliar application: when flowering begins, at “white bud” or after budding, depending on the crop.
- 2nd foliar application: after fruit setting, before the hardening of the stone, or at the beginning of the summer budding, depending on the type of fruit plants in question.
- 3rd foliar application: in the autumn, when the fruit begins to change colour, or about 45 days before harvest, depending on the crop.
Dose (foliar): 0,3% (3 L/1000 L of water)
Depending on the kind of crop and the plants’ state of development, a larger volume of culture medium may be required to achieve optimum coverage of the entire leaf mass.
BENEFITS AND ADVANTAGES
Based on the positive effect on the secondary metabolism:
SPRING APPLICATION:
- Helps to overcome attacks of Phytophthora spp.
- Stimulates budding. Good balance between vegetation (foliar surface) and number of flowers.
- Prepares the tree for good fruit setting.
SUMMER APPLICATION:
- Promotes budding for next year’s growth.
- Avoids decline due to young fruits falling (lower physiological fall of fruits).
- Strengthens the skin to prevent physiological disorders.
AUTUMN APPLICATION:
- Stronger stalks. Increases the grip of mature fruits (fewer falls).
- Helps to overcome attacks of Phytophthora spp.
- It regulates the next year’s flowering, particularly in the problematic varieties. The following spring, we will obtain a significant number of vegetative buds (only leaves), mixed buds and defined flowers, and therefore a good rate of leaves/number of flowers, essential for a good harvest.
- Prevents the decay of the stalk, avoiding premature defoliation and the fall of fruit before harvest.
- Promotes fruit quality, increasing the content of essential oils, vitamins and antioxidants.
- Improves the quality of the fruit skin and external appearance.
NEW PLANTATIONS
With the aim of achieving:
- Better rooting (fewer losses).
- More vigorous plants.
- Reduced time before entry into production.
In new plantations we recommend two soil applications of CORRIZ·AM®, one at the point of transplant and another 7-10 days later.
Benefits
- Causes the proliferation of absorbent hairs and a larger root mass.
- Generates a vegetative improvement and a larger trunk diameter.
- Promotes the multiplication and lengthening of the roots.
- Stimulates mycorrhization.
Dose: 5 L/Ha (±10 cc/foot).
Following these applications there will be two consecutive soil applications of BROTOMAX® between 7 and 10 days apart.
Benefits
- Boosts sprouting, producing a greater number of more vigorous buds.
- Better lining of the seedling.
- Greater plant height.
- Strengthens the stem without softening it (plant more resistant to cold).
Dose: 5 L/Ha (±10 cc/foot).
OBSERVATIONS
In avocado trees and other varieties, you get a regenerative effect on the bark that overcomes psoriasis.
Good healing of wounds produced by hailstorms or mechanical pruning. We recommend an application with BROTOMAX® 10 to 15 days after pruning, mixed with a specific fungicide.
In the event of gummosis or collar rot (Phytophthora spp.), carry out an application of 5 L/Ha. Apply mainly to the affected area.
